The Jersey Shore cast is reuniting for a Hurricane Sandy fundraiser that will be broadcast live on MTV later this month. Seaside Heights, where several episodes of the show have been filmed, was one of the hardest-hit areas during last week's storm.

Is there hope for Jersey Shore's final season?

The event, dubbed Restore the Shore, will be filmed in MTV's studio in Times Square and air on Thursday, Nov. 15 beginning at 11 p.m. EST. Other celebrity guests are also scheduled to appear, according to Entertainment Weekly, which first reported the news. All donations will go towards restoring the Seaside Heights boardwalk, as well as rebuilding homes and businesses in the area.

MTV is partnering with Architecture for Humanity, a nonprofit that offers design and construction services after natural disasters, for the fundraiser. Last week, NBC's fundraiser featuring Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi and others raised about $23 million for the rebuilding efforts.
