LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Michael Jackson would have loved the tremendous support worldwide for "This Is It," his brother, Jermaine Jackson, told Access Hollywood's Tony Potts on Tuesday night.

"He would be most proud because this is the world and he made music for the world. The message was for the world so this is the world showing their appreciation toward his music and his message," Jermaine told Tony on the red carpet at the LA "This Is It" premiere.

The event, held at the Nokia Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles, was attended by Jermaine, Randy, Marlon and Tito Jackson and dozens of celebrities, including Will Smith, Jennifer Lopez, Paula Abdul, Tyrese, Martin Lawrence, Paris Hilton, Adam Lambert, David Cook and "High School Musical's" Ashley Tisdale, Monique Coleman and Corbin Bleu.

Jermaine said that while his brother, who passed away on June 25 at the age of 50, is gone, his memory is being kept alive.

"He is and will always be in all of our hearts and others [hearts]... around the world and that's because [he was] not just a great entertainer, but the message and the music," Jermaine told Tony. "God blessed him with tremendous success and he used it in a way help others -- to inspire others and that's the Michael Jackson that I want everybody to remember."

Before heading into the film, Jermaine said he knew the movie would bring back many memories of his childhood growing up with Michael.

"It's going to take me back to that little house in Gary, Ind., the size of a two car garage and us running around that table that we can't even believe we [fit] into that home," he smiled. "That's what it's gonna take me back to."

And Jermaine, who sang "Smile" at Michael's public memorial service at the Staples Center in Los Angeles over the summer, said his brother's delightful grin is one of the things he misses.

"I just miss his smile and just him just saying, 'Be the best that you can be,'" Jermaine said. "I'm not going to hear that any more, but I hear that in my mind."

I imagine Jermaine hears a lot of things in his mind. Being raised by and a** like Joe Jackson would leave me hearing things to. Sorry that Michael had to be ruined by such a mean and evil man.

Micheal rocks, there will never be another entertainer like him ever. Madonna stole his style and Brittany stole Janets. Say what you want to say he was truly great.
