Jenny McCarthy Lands a Talk Show on VH1

Jenny McCarthy — the outspoken former co-host of MTV's infamous dating show Singled Out has landed her own self-titled talk show on VH1, the network announced Wednesday.

The Jenny McCarthy Show, which is slated to premiere later this year, will feature guest panelists and "skewer everyone and everything in pop culture, news, fashion, TV, movies and the web," according to the release.

"Jenny is a great comedic talent with a sharp wit and magnetic personality, and we couldn't be happier to welcome her to the VH1 family," Jeff Olde, VH1's vice president of original programming and production said in a statement. "Our viewers connect with smart, funny, and outspoken women and Jenny certainly represents all of those elements wrapped up in a style that makes people smile."

Aside from her hosting gig on Singled Out, McCarthy has appeared on Two and a Half Men, Just Shoot Me, and The Drew Carey Show. Most recently, she co-hosted Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest.
