Life just got a little sweeter for Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles!
The country singer gave birth to her first child, a son named Magnus Hamilton, on December 6. She and husband Justin Miller confirmed the birth, saying "We are so thankful for all the prayers and support and are excited to take some time together as a new family."
The 38-year-old "Duets" mentor married Miller, an entrepreneur and former model, in November 2011, tying the knot in a small ceremony in the Smokey Mountains. The couple announced the pregnancy in June.

"How Country Feels" singer Randy Houser became a first time dad this year, welcoming his first child with wife Jessa Lee Yantz. Baby boy West Yantz Houser arrived on March 6, 2012, weighing 6 pounds, 10 ounces, and measuring 19 inches long. Houser, 35, and Yantz tied the knot in September 2011 in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
Singer Mindy McCready gave birth to her second child this year, welcoming son Zayne on April 9. The "Guys Do It All the Time" songstress and boyfriend David Wilson announced the birth, saying that despite the "long and trying pregnancy…there are no words to convey how happy we are." The 36-year-old singer also has a son Zander, 6, with ex Billy McKnight.
After enduring several heartbreaking miscarriages, singer Joe Nichols and wife Heather finally welcomed a baby. Daughter Dylan River was born on April 17, weighing 7 pounds, 5 ounces. Singer Joy Williams of the Grammy-winning duo The Civil Wars gave birth to her first child on June 30, 2012. The 30-year-old singer and husband Nate Yetton welcomed son Miles Alexander, who was born in Nashville, Tennessee. In November, the duo canceled their remaining tour dates, citing "irreconcilable differences." Despite rumors of a permanent split, Williams and partner John Paul White say they hope to have new music ready in 2013.
Musician Jay DeMarcus of the group Rascal Flatts welcomed his second child in 2012. On July 20, Jay's wife Allison gave birth to son Dylan Jay, who weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces. Emily Robison of the Dixie Chicks and Court Yard Hounds delivered her fourth child this year. On September 4, she and boyfriend Martin Strayer welcomed baby girl Violet Isabel, who weighed in at a healthy 8 ½ pounds. Emily has three children from her previous marriage to Charlie Robison - twins Juliana and Henry, 7, and son Charles, 9.
