The star, 30, reportedly shot her last scene as Dr. Allison Cameron earlier this week. While the network has yet to comment on her departure, Entertainment Weekly says her final episode will air in November.

Morrison is the first of the show's original cast members -- including central character Hugh Laurie -- to depart.

Featured on the series since its premiere in 2004, Morrison was engaged to her House costar and TV love interest, Jesse Spencer, but the couple called it quits in August 2007.

I like Cameron on House. I wouldn't say that it will hurt the show a lot beings Hugh Laurie is the back bone of the show, but she definitely brings an intiguing chemistry to the show. I like Wilson, Cuddy & Foreman as well...like Cameron, they contributes to the overall chemistry of the show. Chase, on the other hand, I could take or leave.

  • Now that Cameron has gone back to Chicago, Chase has been a wreck. He goes out and gets drunk by himself on Thanksgiving, he punches House, and he doesn't pay attention anymore. David Shore has said that he will bring Jennifer Morrison back onto the show, and even now, she is still on payroll. I hope she comes back because she gets sick and they treat her, or maybe she comes back pregna

Won't be watching House this season anyway. As long as they insist on having 13 roll around in the sack with that eggplant I'm outta here..

This is totally going to mess up the shows dynamic! Without Cameron, Chase is completely bland, and Taub and Foreman don't really have a huge following either. Which means that the show is going to be completely dominated by Huddy, and probably a lot of Thirteen too, and as much as I like Thirteen, I don't think she should be getting any more screen time.
