The military-bred "personal protection dog" is accused of attacking a flight attendant on a private Gulfstream IV jet in 2006, a new lawsuit charges. In court documents obtained by New York's Daily News, an animal behavior expert blames the star couple for not sending Floyd to counseling.
Flight attendant Lisa Wilson claims that the pooch "growled and lunged at her," and "headbutted her leg and she fell and seriously injured her back." What triggered Floyd's attack? She was carrying silverware; her lawyers argue that Anthony and Lopez knew that "sharp objects" tend to anger Floyd, and that they should have taken precautions.

Also suspect: Anthony had instructed Wilson "not to make eye contact with the dog and to call Floyd by his name if she needed to pass."
"It is clear to me that Floyd . . . behaved inappropriately, aggressively and in a manner that consistently endangered humans," veterinarian Dr. Karen Overall says in an eight-page report.

Adds Wilson's lawyer: "The dog was obviously dangerous . . . and it was only a matter of time before he hurt someone."

TheGoddessLets hope this "trained personal protection dog" doesn't view their twins as a threat. I'm sure if he headbutted one of them, he'd do a lot more damage. We live in a litigious society and if you are going to own a guard dog, you need to be sure it knows its commands, most importantly, SIT & STAY!!!!report abuseposted January 8, 2010 12:25 AM PST

laurawell obviously if it's a military dog then it is going to be protective. even with the instructions given, the flight attendant should have taken the right precautions just for the fact that German shepherds are protective to begin with. as for the "counseling" for the dog, if they did that it wouldn't be a guard dog anymore. and i doubt that they will get rid oreport abuseposted January 7, 2010 11:57 PM PST
