Jennifer Hudson will perform at next month's 51st Annual Grammy Awards.

Her addition to the list of performers was announced today. It will be the third time she takes the stage since her family was murdered this past fall. Her first public appearance will be at the Super Bowl in Tampa, Fla., on Feb. 1 -- she will sing the national anthem at the game.

She will also sing at the Grammys' MusiCares event Feb. 6 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Hudson is up for three Grammys -- Best Female R&B Vocal Performance ("Spotlight"), Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals ("I'm His Only Woman," featuring Fantasia), and Best R&B Album.

The Oscar winner will be joined by fellow American Idol contestant, Carrie Underwood .

Three-time Grammy winner Underwood is up for Best Female Country Vocal Performance for her song, "Last Name."

The Grammy Awards will be broadcast live Feb. 8 at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
