NEW YORK, New York -- Jennifer Hudson is beaming about her new son David Daniel Otunga Jr.

"He's the cutest thing in the world!" the Grammy winner told People on Tuesday when asked about her first son with fiance David Otunga, who was born on August 10.

"There are no words for it. He's the best. It's just amazing - us discovering each other, me becoming a mom."

According to singer, who was in New York City for "The Wizard of Oz" Netflix concert at Central Park's Rumsey Playfield on Tuesday, little David is already following in mom's footsteps.

"He seems like he's very interested in music already. The other night he was having a fit screaming, and someone turns on the music and he just stops and calms down. And I was exactly the same way as a baby," she continued. "Sometimes when he cries, I try to harmonize!"

And the proud mom said he's also displaying some amazing abilities at a very young age.

"He's a very rare newborn," Jennifer explained. "He tries a lot - he's turning over, he's lifting up his own head, he tries to hold his own bottle, sometimes I swear he's talking to me, or at least trying to. The other day he said, 'Hi!' - I swear, I'm not crazy. David was there too, and he was like, 'He just said, "Hi!" He's very aware."

When asked about her own mother, who tragically killed in October 2008, along with her brother, the Oscar winner explained that her mom is influential when it comes to how she parents.

"I think she was a great example of being a mother, so when [my son] first got home, I was like, 'Everything I do will be out of love,'" she said. "That's what drives me in the middle of the night when I'm knocked out sleeping and he wakes up."

But looking ahead, Jennifer said she's excited to spend the upcoming holidays with her newborn. "It's going to be ridiculous. I can't wait," the proud mom told the mag. "His dad went and bought him some Halloween stuff the other night. I wish he was older so he could remember it, but this is the first one, so I have to go all out. It's going to be great."

Obviously Pixie got her comment because Ms. Hudson mentioned in her article that her baby tries to hold his own bottle. Seems a bit harsh to say "don't black people breastfeed? WTF" Now,what Ty wrote was far more offensive. First of all, take the caps lock off. Secondly, you are writing a comment, not texting. Use standard spelling. You sound like a violent gangster,

There are plenty of women on both sides of the fence of breastfeeding vs formula. I think for many women it comes down to convenience. When you are working a full time job it becomes a little more difficult to work in the time to pump and breastfeed. I commend those who do. My cousin (who is Black) managed to work as a nurse (demanding hours) and breastfed her two babies for 10 months.

I am still wondering where Pixie's comment came from. Did I miss something? Did they talk about breastfeeding in the article, or did she just cease the opportunity to make an ignorant comment?
