    Jennifer & Ben's Baby Name Revealed!

    Jennifer Garner gave birth to her first son, who she and husband Ben Affleck have named Samuel Garner Affleck, on February 27, ET can now confirm.

    The superstar couple's new addition was born in Santa Monica, California, joining big sisters Violet, 6, and Serafina, 3.

    For months it had been speculated that Jennifer and Ben would welcome a baby boy to their growing family, yet the couple would neither confirm nor deny the sex of the baby.

    Jen, 39, and Ben, 39, announced the happy news in August of 2011, telling the Associated Press they were "thrilled" to announce their third bundle of joy was indeed on the way.

      I think Violet looks more like mom and Serafina looks more like dad, so I think it would be cute if this little guy looked a little like both. Either way, nice to hear a decent celebrity story. (Much like Reese Witherspoon, Jen seems to dress her kids age appropriate..I like that.)

        Amen to that! So glad he ended up with *this* Jennifer - a loving, down-to-earth mom who cares more about her kids than what she looks like, the latest fashions, how fast she can lose her 'baby weight', etc. Jennifer Garner was born to be a mom, and it shows in how she cares for her family.

      She is beautiful, I'm glad she stays home with her babies... nothing wrong with working, but it is so good for them to be with their mother! At least I think she stays home with them... I don't see her in any movies lately.

      aww! I remember Jennifer saying in an interview that Ben was, well, not nervous, about potentially having a boy, but said "we know girls, we can do that" I'm sure he is happy with their little baby boy. They are such a nice, normal family. Their girls look like normal kids (not in designer labels and heels), they all just seem so wonderfully apple pie. congrats!

      Awwww! That is great. They seem to be such a loving couple...and they do seem to be very private about their family..which is how it should be. Can't wait until they give him a name.
