Jennifer Aniston & Courteney Cox hit the red carpet on Thursday night, but the real-life "Friends" were getting glam for a good cause.

Joined by Sheryl Crow and OmniPeace founder Mary Fanaro, the stars were supporting the launch of OmniPeace's new fashion line, which will donate 25 percent of its profits toward the goals of fighting extreme poverty and violence against women in the Congo.

The stars all wore shirts from the new line, featuring drawings by children who have been affected by the violence and are in the process of recovering.

"One of the therapy methods is art therapy and these are images that have been made into a collage from these children and it's quite disturbing to know that this is what is in front of them," Jennifer told Access Hollywood. "They're not getting fed it through the news or television, it's what they see in front of their eyes."

And the star was happy to lend her voice toward helping others.

"I am an extremely fortunate human being and now we get to take time out and see what else we have to do," the "Management" star said. "It's never too late to get educated."

Jennifer is also reaching out to kids via smartwater, which she endorses. The brand has just released a new water bottle inspired by a mural made by Jennifer and 20 LA kids from the Action for Healthy Kids program last fall - 5 cents of each bottle sold will go directly to the program, with a minimum of $1 million being donated.

And Courteney Cox, who is serving as an ambassador for the brand, looked at her involvement as a responsibility.

"That's one of the things that we can do as celebrities," Courteney told Access. "We can speak out and we can hopefully be heard and bring awareness to things that people aren't even aware of. I don't think everybody knows what's going on in the Congo."

Closer to home, Courteney's also taking some time for herself this weekend - she turns 45 on Monday and she's celebrating her 10-year-anniversary with husband David Arquette.

"And [daughter] Coco's [turning] 5 on Saturday, so it's literally the most exhausting week," Courteney said. "I won't care that I'm getting older because I'm just so tired. [But] it'll be fun."
