The films "Bad Teacher" and "Horrible Bosses" (starring Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Aniston respectively) prove being bad at work can be hilarious, but in reality is detrimental to one's job status. The dreaded termination notice or an escort to the stage exit door is sure to follow bad work. Several celebs have felt the sting of rejection including Charlie Sheen from "Two and a Half Men," Megan Fox from "Transformers," Lindsay Lohan from "The Other Side" and "Inferno" and Katherine Heigl, who was released from her "Grey's Anatomy" contract after her barrage of public complaints about the series.

Ryan Gosling Gorges
Ryan Gosling committed himself to a weight gain binge to play Jack Salmon in "The Lovely Bones." Gosling said Peter Jackson did not approve and recast Mark Wahlberg in the role. Jackson's wife stated they let Gosling go because he was uncomfortable about making the role work.
No Love for Neal McDonough
The devoutly Catholic Neal McDonough told ABC he wouldn't film sex scenes for the now cancelled series "Scoundrels" and was promptly recast. It seems he also cut out the sex in his previous roles on "Desperate Housewives" and "Boomtown."
Thora Birch's Fuming Father
Thora Birch was barred from the stage play "Dracula." Director Paul Alexander stated Birch's father Jack (who is a former porn star and Birch's manager) threatened another actor for rubbing his daughter's back during a scene in which the actor had been directed to do so. After a subsequent production meeting and a call to Birch's manager, Birch and her father were asked to leave the show. Birch commented she never knew anything was wrong.
Stuart Townsend Gets Staked
Charlize Theron's ex, Stuart Townsend, resurrected the role of Lestat in the film flop "Queen of the Damned." After landing the part of Aragon in "Lord of the Rings" he was let go after two days of filming. Reportedly, director Peter Jackson and Townsend were not creatively on the same page. Whatever that means.
Eric Stoltz Too Stern
Eric Stoltz is best known as the robe-wearing drug dealer in "Pulp Fiction" and for his '80 hit "Some Kind of Wonderful," in which he co-starred with Mary Stuart Masterson. Stoltz was hired to play Marty McFly in " Back to the Future." The iconic role which defined Michael J. Fox's career was snatched away from Stoltz after Robert Zemeckis and Steven Spielberg felt Stoltz was not infusing enough humor in his performance.
Isaiah Washington's Loose Lips
In 2007, Isaiah Washington got into a heavily publicized verbal argument on the set of "Grey's Anatomy" that led to him using a gay slur. Despite going to rehab to make up for his slip of the tongue, his termination was sealed.
