LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Four years after Jennifer Aniston split with husband Brad Pitt , she and her ex's partner, Angelina Jolie , will rub shoulders in public for the first time, at the same two Hollywood events this coming weekend.

According to OK! Magazine, Angelina and Jennifer will both attend the Night Before the Oscars party in Beverly Hills, the evening before the Academy Awards.

Over the years, there have been a host of events at which the two women were both expected, but one or both of the women were either no-shows or dropped out of the event.

Jennifer is expected to attend the pre-Oscar party and the following day, the Oscars, with her boyfriend, rocker John Mayer , who just confirmed his attendance to the latter event, publicly.

"I'm going to the Oscars," Mayer told the PopSugar Web site. "It's my first Oscars. And it's my first being an Oscar boyfriend."

According to a source, Jennifer is ready to attend an event that will also feature attendance from the Hollywood super couple.

"It's taken time, but she's getting past her insecurities about Brad and Angie and their huge happy family," a source told OK! "Though the meeting is sure to be difficult, Jen knows it has to happen and now couldn't be better timing."

Another source said Angelina and Brad, who are both nominated for Oscars at this year's ceremony, aren't concerned about their coincidental upcoming party attendance.

"They've shown up for every major awards show and have every intention of enjoying themselves at the party," a source told the mag. "They don't consider it Jen's turf."

    I think Angie is a total user! Brad was stupid enough to fall into her trap. She was Hollywood star but wanted to be Hollywood royalty, thats why shes with Brad and let herself get pregnant.His forced smiles when the camera is on him & Angie don't seem real. I bet he can't to break away from her & those kids and go play cards with George Clooney!

    Oh...if you want to blame someone, blame Brad not Angie. He was married to her for better or worse, not Angie. I am sooo sick of Jennifer's poor little me routine. Get over it and move on. All of that energy can be put to better use to help others in the world, like Brad and Angie do.

  • Ang looks like she has aged 5 yrs. in 3 mo. Kind of anorexic which make her wrinkeles show more now. Jen looks healthy good weight so much younger looking and glowing.
