Jennifer Aniston is easily America's sweetheart. When she smiles, we laugh along and when she cries, we turn on the dude that did her in. We have followed her travails in love and life from almost the start of her career. The "Friends" actress successfully made the dreaded transition from hit TV show to movie star -- and she made it look easy. Fans are on baby bump watch for the former Mrs. Brad Pitt every time the yoga fit diva has a sandwich.
After years of the media playing the same old "Poor Jen" song, it seems that she has found a good one. We don't know what it is about cutie pie, actor, director and screenwriter Justin Theroux but he makes our girl look happier than we've ever seen her; and that's good enough for us. You can watch their on screen sparks fly in the upcoming film "Wanderlust" where Jen and Paul Rudd play a married couple stepping out of their NYC boundaries. Theroux plays a nature-loving member of the commune that they visit. The word on the street is that Jen and Justin caught "Wanderlust" for each other while making this movie, which was directed by David Wain.
John Aniston's daughter has been our imaginary BFF for so long that we really do feel like we know her. Raise your hand if you wanted to personally beat up Angelina Jolie or John Mayer in the past for not being so nice to our girl. Still, believe it or not, this woman who is seemingly real best friends with such polar opposites as Chelsea Handler and Oprah Winfrey still has a few secrets up her chic sleeves.
Recently, the "Marley and Me" thespian sat down with In Style Magazine at the infamous Polo Lounge of the Beverly Hills Hotel. She gave writer George Epaminodas an almost carte blanche window into the woman she is today. She also graces the cover.
Jen Aniston: 3 Things You Didn't Know About Me
Career Switcheroo
We know that Jennifer has acting in her bones and blood as the daughter of a soap star. She is also opening the door to a directing career. That's right! Rachel Green is successfully stepping behind the camera even more after the acclaim for her Lifetime film project "Five" last year. Aniston confesses that if she was not acting or directing she might want to try her hand at dermatology.
Well, the girl definitely has good skin going for her so why not? She tells the mag, "I'd love to be a dermatologist. I'm so obsessive about it. I'm fascinated by skin, products and lasers. I go on the Internet and read all about it. I call it 'laser porn.'" We're sure that the Smart Water entrepreneur has no intimate knowledge of those skin lasers at all!
On Her Man's Style
We've all seen those tabloid shots of Jen and Justin looking like bro and sis. Perhaps we should name them "Jenustin?" At any rate, the "Horrible Bosses" icon had nothing but praise for her guy's look. And why should she? He's a hottie. JA says, "First of all, he has great style. It's very specific and it's been his style forever. Has it influenced mine? No, but I know people think it has.
Well, there ya go. She goes on to tell In Style's March issue that people say, "'Oh, look, you're dressing alike.' And I think, No I'm not. I've had this jacket for three years!"
Health and Fitness
Ms. Aniston certainly looks like the poster child for good health. However, she confesses to the magazine that she only just put down the cigarettes. She says, "I don't make resolutions, but I quit smoking recently, and it put a couple of pounds on me that are hard to lose. Everybody says it's normal but I'd like to get rid of them." While we're glad that the star is no longer smoking we find it hard to sympathize with her body issues.
It looks like Jenny is finally happy, and we are ecstatic for her. What do you think of Jen and Justin? Is he the man for her? Are you thrilled about the new state of mind she's in?
