Is recently-divorced Jennie Garth considering a romance with former co-star Luke Perry? Rumors about a real-life union between Dylan and Kelly have been growing, but the actress has apparently shot them down. "No! We're just really close friends," said Jennie when asked about the rumored romance. "I love him so much, dating him might be weird!"
They might not be dating, but the two are planning to work together in the near future. According to Jennie, the two are brainstorming ideas for a new series in which they'd play a couple. With that in mind, you never know what might happen down the road. Over the years, plenty of TV couples have carried their romance over to real life. As you can see from these examples, the results are mixed.
In the very first episode of "True Blood," it was clear that the two co-stars had serious chemistry. As it turns out, that chemistry was even more intense in real life. The two began dating while shooting the series pilot, and things only got better after that. They tied the knot in 2010, and welcomed twins this past September. Their TV romance might have hit the skids, but this couple is still going strong when the cameras aren't rolling.
Chad Michael Murray and Sophia Bush
While their characters had a turbulent relationship on "One Tree Hill," these two actors had a lot more drama in the real world. After dating for a couple of years, the two got married in 2005 when both were in their early 20s. After just five months of marriage, the couple separated. Sophia initially tried to have the marriage annulled due to fraud, but the couple ended up finalizing a divorce in 2006. Proving that they are professionals, the two continued to work on the TV show for several years after their split.said Kaley in 2010. "It was such a huge part of my life and no one knew about it. This is the first time I've ever talked about it, ever. It was a wonderful relationship, but we never spoke a word about it and never went anywhere together."
