Jenna Dewan-Tatum and her husband Channing Tatum are celebrating 2012 in grand style with the news that they are expecting their first child next year.
Just before announcing the big announcement on the cover of US Weekly magazine, the actress took to the red carpet to show off her brand new baby bump at the VH1 Divas concert at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Sunday evening. While the news wasn't officially public yet, she did nothing to hide the fact that she is expecting in a beautiful pale blue strapless gown that screamed, "I'm pregnant!!"
With their baby announcement, Channing and Jenna join a bevy of Hollywood stars who are spending the holiday season rejoicing with pregger news. Here are some of the stars who are ready to ring in the new year with some grand expectations:
Jessica Simpson: It's been less than a year since she welcomed daughter Maxwell, but the Weight Watchers spokesperson is reportedly awaiting the arrival of baby #2! While the star hasn't made an official announcement, she has been spotted around Los Angeles with the required baggy clothing and over-sized purse that do all the talking for her and fiance Eric Johnson. Note to all expectant celebrity moms -- big purses do not hide baby bumps!
Shiri Appleby: The "Roswell" star and her chef fiance Jon Shook just announced that they are expecting their first child this spring. Of her pregnancy the actress tells US Weekly, "Thank God, knock on wood. I've had a really easy pregnancy. I've been working out a lot just because it feels good. And I've loved it, you get to eat as many breads and pastas as you want and don't gain weight. It's been great!"
Busy Philipps: The "Cougar Town" actress is adding a new addition to the nest. The star made the big announcement on Twitter with a photo of a positive pregnancy test and the caption, "So this happened." The new addition will join her four-year-old daughter, Birdie, with husband Marc Silverstein.
