Jay-Z Raps New Verse About Blue Ivy and Other Stars Who've Written Songs About Kids

Jay-Z is one celebrity who isn't afraid to brag about living the life of luxury. Since the birth of his daughter Blue Ivy six months ago, one of Jay's favorite new things appears to be bragging about how awesome his baby girl is.

In a new track, "3 Kings," Jay raps a guest verse on the new Rick Ross song and lets people know they better think twice before trying to live the fab life of the royal hip-hop couple's daughter.

Jay-Z raps that his critics, "couldn't f--- with my daughter's room" -- or "walk in my daughter's socks." Socks that cost a little bit more than your average pair. Blue Ivy has been known to be completely spoiled by her parents including when she wore a pair of slippers valued around $66 at only two months old. We bet those slippers were mega comfortable!

Jay-Z isn't the only one who has bragged and gushed over his kid. Plenty of celebs take to their music to express how much they adore and love their children.

    Eric Clapton

The legendary songwriter and musician made another hit with his hauntingly sad song "Tears in Heaven," released in 1992 about his son Conor who passed away the year before.

Clapton's son fell from a window on the 53rd-floor of his mother's apartment when he was only four. The singer was nominated for nine Grammys the year "Tears in Heaven" was released, winning Song of the Year for the hit, among other awards.

    Britney Spears

When Britney released her "Circus" album in 2008 shortly after her very public psychotic meltdown the last track featured a song called, "My Baby," a song dedicated to her two sons.

"Tiny hands/yes, that's you/and all you show/it's simply true/I smell your breath/it makes me cry/I wonder how I've lived my life," she sings in the opening verse. Britney proves there's nothing sweeter than the relationship between child and parent.

    Billy Joel

In 1993 Billy released one of his most successful albums, "River of Dreams," and dedicated the song "Lullabye (Goodnight My Angel)" to his daughter Alexa Ray who was a young child at the time.

"Goodnight my angel, now it's time to sleep/and still so many things I want to say/remember all the songs you sang for me/when we went sailing on an emerald bay," Billy sings.

Alexa was the only child the legendary singer had with model Christie Brinkley and the couple chose Alexa's middle name for Billy's idol Ray Charles.
