Jason Derulo Fractures Neck, Cancels Upcoming Tour

Jason Derulo fractured a vertebra in his neck while rehearsing for his upcoming tour, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The 22-year-old R&B singer was rushed to a Pembroke Pines, Fla., hospital and later released with a neck brace that he must wear for the next couple of months. Doctors said the accident could've left him paralyzed.

"I fractured my neck doing tumbling & acrobatics 4 tour! Always tryin 2 push boundaries 4 YOU! Like my new chain? ;)" he tweeted along with a photo of him in a neck brace.

Derulo has canceled his tour that was supposed to start next month. "To all my fans who planned to come to the Future History World Tour, the pain of letting you down cuts me way deeper than this injury I've sustained," Derulo said in a statement. "My fans mean everything to me, so I'm praying for a speedy recovery in order to perform for you in the near future."
