Lindsay Lohan is working hard not to let her 90-day rehab sentence get her down by clubbing and making out with her new man, musician/club promoter Avi Snow. However, James Franco's recent interview with Howard Stern might put a damper on her partying mood.
According to Us Weekly, Howard asked James to address rumors that he once rejected sex with Lindsay. Of course the shock jock had to point out to his audience that this happened "back then when she was a lot hotter."
When Stern asked Franco if he'd "turned her down sexually," the actor stated, "I mean, I don't want to brag about it." He went on to say that Lindsay was already "having issues," so it would have been "weird" to hook up with her. "Honestly, she was a friend. I've met a lot of people that are troubled and sometimes you don't want to do that," he explained.
It was admirable of James Franco not to take advantage of Lindsay, but perhaps he should have also avoided embarrassing her by refusing to talk about her sexual advances.
So while it seems like a lot of sleeping around goes on in Hollywood, some stars aren't fans of hooking up with someone just because they're also famous. Here's a look at a few other celebs that have been rejected by other celebs:
Last year Kirstie confessed to "Entertainment Tonight" that she and "Ghost" actor Patrick Swayze fell in love while they were working on the 1985 miniseries "North and South." Both stars were married at the time, but Kirstie described their attraction as "intense."
"We did not have an affair. But again, I think what I did was worse. Because I think when you fall in love with someone when you're married, you jeopardize your own marriage and their marriage. It's doubly bad," she confessed.
According to Kirstie, her feelings for Patrick were so strong that she once begged him to make love to her. However, he was a gentleman and rejected her advances by pointing out that she was drunk and "not that kind of girl."
You might think that this awkward love story can't get any worse, but it does -- Swayze's widow asked Kirstie to speak at his funeral in 2009.
According to Barbara Streisand, this legendary actor once tried to get with her under the guise of going on a trip to the desert to look at some wildflowers. The smart girl soon realized what he was up to, and she told the New York Post this about his plans: "He wanted to stay overnight, but I said, 'No, I don't know you well enough." So instead the pair just spent the day together and grabbed a few burgers.
This brunette beauty might have one of the hottest bods in Hollywood, but even she's been rejected by a fellow celeb. During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she hinted that she was interested in a certain singer with moves like Jagger by joking, "I just read two days ago that Adam Levine is single again . . . I'm just saying."
Instead of calling Jen and asking her out, Adam labeled her as being "aggressive" when he later appeared on Ellen's show. When the talk show host offered to set him up with "The Client List" star, all he would say is, "I'm cool." Ouch!
