Jude Law is now a father of four!

Samantha Burke, a model who briefly dated the actor, gave birth to a baby girl on Tuesday, her rep confirms to Usmagazine.com.

"Samantha Burke is overwhelmed with joy at the arrival of her beautiful and healthy baby girl, Sophia," her rep tells Us. "Sophia arrived on September 22 and weighs in at 5lbs, 12oz. The baby and mom are doing wonderful."

Law, who admitted two months ago that the 24-year-old aspiring actress was pregnant with his child, has three other children -- Rafferty, 12, Iris, 8, and Rudy, 7 -- with ex-wife Sadie Frost. (The couple split in 2003 after six years of marriage.)

When the pregnancy news first emerged in July, Law's rep released a statement claiming he would be a part of the child's life.

"Jude Law can confirm that, following a relationship last year, he has been advised that he is to be the father of a child due in the fall of this year," his rep said. "Mr. Law is no longer in a relationship with the individual concerned, but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child's life. This is an entirely private matter and no other statements will be made."

    thast what happen when u think sleeping with a star will make u famous....well famous in a not so good way. bless the child....however not judging ms. burke, but so many woman fall into the trap of sleeping with a celebrity to help their career,..at the end...u r the one left caring for the child...most of the time//////
