Isabella Cruise Opens Up About Her Close Relationship With Mother Nicole Kidman
Even though Isabella and Nicole haven’t made a public appearance together for many years, Tom Cruise’s older daughter claims to have a very close relationship with her mother.
Though we hear way more about half-sister Suri, a revealing new interview with older sibling Isabella Cruise has her opening up on her relationship with her mother, Nicole Kidman.
“I love mom. She’s my mom. She’s great. I see her sometimes and I speak to her,” said Isabella about Nicole, 44, in an interview with New Idea Magazine. “We’re a very close family. I love all of our family.”
Unlike her famous mother and father, the 19-year-old has kept herself out of the public eye. According to a Daily Mail report, Isabella and Nicole’s relationship was rumored to be estranged after Nicole said her kids “don’t call me mommy…they call me Nicole” in 2007.
However, Isabella’s new interview has directly countered those claims and remains insistent that she is close with her mother.
After her parent’s divorce in 2001, Isabella initially stayed with her father Tom Cruise in his Beverly Hills mansion. But she has now moved into a new apartment with her boyfriend, Eddie Frencher in Downtown Los Angeles’ Skid row district.
