LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Michael Bolton's sage lyric, "Tell me, how am I supposed to live without you," turned out to be true following his split with longtime fiance Nicollette Sheridan.
The aftermath of the split between Michael and Nicollette has left the 55-year-old crooner homeless, according to The New York Post's Page Six.
In May, the former-couple bought a mansion together in LA's Hidden Hills area from Melissa Etheridge and her wife Tammy Lynn Michaels.
Assuming they were headed towards wedded bliss, Michael uprooted himself from Westport, Conn., putting his estate, Della Acqua, on the market.

But unfortunately, two months later -- in August -- Michael and Nicollette, who had been dating since 2005, ended their engagement.
According to Page Six, a source said Nicollette "kicked him out" just two days after the engagement fell apart.
"He's basically homeless -- and stuck with two houses. He and Nicollette split the Hidden Hills house, but she wants to stay there and not have him anywhere near it. She also doesn't particularly want to pay him [for] his half and thinks he should just give [the house] to her," Page Six's source said.

The source alleged that Michael is in a state of house limbo.
"Michael's kind of screwed," the source continued. "He pulled up his longtime roots in Connecticut to live with her, and now she booted him. He's got nowhere to go."
To complicate the issue further, Nicollette is allegedly already dating someone new, according to a pal of the 44-year-old actress.
"She has a new boyfriend," the pal told the paper, "It is not David Spade -- they are just friends. He's not her type."
