Is Jennifer Garner Pregnant?

Access Hollywood - July 17, 2008 9:44 PM PDT

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- According to a new report in US Weekly, Jennifer Garner is pregnant.

Garner's "Alias" co-star, Victor Garber told the publication the actress is expecting her second child.

"Yes, she is," Garber was quoted as saying.

But his words were taken out of context, the actor told E! News on Thursday night.

"I haven't confirmed that at all, no," Garber told E! News. "I know they want to have another child and hopefully that's true, but I don't know that.

"No, I know that they are hoping to be," the actor, who now stars on ABC's "Eli Stone" added. "I just don't know that it's for sure. It's a very personal thing."

Garber is still a close pal of his former on-screen daughter and he previously officiated her wedding to actor Ben Affleck in 2005.

Us didn't just quote Garber however, in their report. A source claimed in the magazine that Garner is just a few months shy of giving birth.

"She is five months pregnant," the source said. "They are very happy.

Last month Affleck said family life with his wife and 2-year-old daughter Violet, was going well during an interview with Access Hollywood's Billy Bush for "The Billy Bush Show."

"Things are pretty great," Affleck said. "We're very happy. Things couldn't be better. We're kind of taking it easy and just kind of enjoying a little downtime at home."

When asked if he had a sibling in store for Violet, Affleck played it coy.

"You're the first person I will alert. I will just call you and get right on the radio," he said.

Whether or not the couple is married matters not to me. Are they in love? Are they responsibly comitted to each other and their children? I will however say from experience that if you're not married and one of the life partners die, you're screwed. "Just make out a will" is a bunch of crap when the other family steps in and you can all but forget death benefi

Sometimes the ignorance on here is overwhelming. Why do two people who care about eachother have to be married to have a baby? It is 2008 people who cares...get a life

I love Jennifer. That's why I wish they'd all just LEAVE HER ALONE. She's a talented actress and a seemingly nice person, why must they hound her so?

I agree with LA.... At least these two are married. Unlike all of the other Stars in Hollywood. I think eveybody needs to take a look at what kind of example they are setting to the young adults that idolize them.

At least these two are MARRIED...unlike half of the other celeb woman that are popping up pregnant. It is like babies are the next big fashion thing for the woman in Hollywood, like a hot new hand bag or pair of shoes. Everyone talks about Angela Jolie and Brad Pitt how great they are. They would be married if they cared at all about the example they are setting for the young in our society.

Only wish the best for the both of them and it seems like her daughter is always very happy and content, so I think baby #2 will also be happy and be raised in a loving home and that is whats important.
