    Houston Family 'Devastated' by Whitney's Death

    The Houston family has spoken out on Whitney Houston's tragic death yesterday afternoon in Beverly Hills, California.

    "We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Whitney. This is an unimaginable tragedy and we will miss her terribly," the Houston family tells ET in a statement. "We appreciate the outpouring of love and support from her fans and friends."

    Bobbi Kristina, Houston's only daughter with ex-husband Bobby Brown, is especially taking the news hard. ET has confirmed that the 18-year-old was rushed to Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles early this morning, where sources say she was treated for anxiety.

      This is an absolute tragedy & a horrific loss. Whitney- We will always Love You. May you find peace & happiness w/ your maker- Our Lord. Wish you eternal peace.       The peeps posting negative comments need to crawl back under the rock from whence they came. This is a sad ending for an amazing talent. How many have recently been lost to drugs and alcohol addictions? I hope our kids are noticing the pattern lately. Do drugs and it messes up or even takes your life.

      What a terrible loss. Another great talent gone way before her time. I hope the young kids of today learn something from this. It is easy to get into this lifestyle and harder than hell to leave it.

      I sorry to have heard what happened to bobbi kristina my sympathy goes out to her entire family. whitney I have never meet her in person but i would have loved to but can't now I grew up listening to whitney among other greats but whitney a thousand bolt of lightening her voice is incredible. I love you whitney thank you for your smoothing voice. thank you Sissy Houston for producing a daughter like whitney you are a bunch of remarkable people.

      My heart goes out to her family and close friends...this is a great loss, her voice and the spirit of her singing will continue to live on in what she has left behind. Only

      God knows the struggles she was having, her honesty about her struggles tells us she must have felt trapped in them.
