Who cares what hollywood celebrities think! They're exactly who you don't want your kids to look to for inspiration. None of them wrote anything worth reading anyway.

Oh Please!!! These people wouldn't give her the time of day!!!

Her death was anything but "sudden." It was more like a slow-motion train wreck 25 years in the making. Anybody who knows the truth about alcoholism and crack addiction could have seen this coming years ago. What a shame. She was such a great talent. RIP.

Many of the posts I have read say that WH is now "An angel in heaven". But, I have to ask,What makes you think she is in heaven? Just asking because everyone assumes that she went in that direction but nothing she did with her life and gifts shows me that's where she went. I am not saying she didn't go there I just want to know what makes you think she did.
      Please explain this to me.

Will you shut up with these stupid articles on Houston? She abused drugs, she got what she deserved. You don't feel sympathy for those people, they brought it all on themselves.

What a waste of so much talent. When are Americans going to wake up to the fact that drugs destroy , whether it be the entertainment industry or sports or anything else. Dying in middle age stemming from drug abuse is not cool, whether it be this poor unfortunate soul, Michael Jackson or any of the many others. The lessons have to start at kindergarden age. Stop revering druggies, sports, rap, anything else. Drugs Kill!

Do you really think that someone who wants to do that sh** is going to respond to someine telling them not to? Really?! Have you ever been in close proximity to a junkie? And what makes you think that no one ever said or did anything? A junkie is a hopeless creature to deal with. If they want to do dope until they die there is nothing that you can do. Period.

a voice God took back years ago because she didn't appreciate the gift He gave her.

Perhaps God will take back your voice because of negativity.

it is so sad to lose a love one to drugs she was such a great singer and person her daughter will miss her mom and just think of her mother heart is breaking she has lost her child
    • cristal  •  Dallas, Texas  •  3 months ago
I agree with all of the previous posters... Where were all of these ppl when she needed help getting through this addiction? The same ppl who feel oh so sad now were bashing just standing by watching and focussing on her lowest most hardest moments. And the list goes on with the rest of troubled hollywood. Who will they let go next?

Junkie plain and simple, i.e. Anna Nicole Smith, Billie Holiday, Michael Jackson. No pity here, they all contributed to their own deaths. Another great talent lost to demon drugs.

NEWSFLASH! Bobby and others in her inner circle are partially the blame. Bobby abused her for years which is the reason why Whitney started doing drugs. When a person suffers from abuse it stays with you for a very long time and causes deep emotional and mental instability. Everyone else wanted to treat her drug problem to get her back on stage to make money from her. However, you can't treat the symptom without cutting off the very root of the problem first. R.I.P beautiful songbird. May you finally have peace.

My prayers to her, she will be missed greatly as a fan for years her passing this way leaves a large hollow spot as knowing I will never see her again or truly never hear her again.

I pray Bobbi will be alright as time goes on and help from her friends and family
