The presidential hopeful said she feels it is the parents' responsibility to protect a child.
"They grow up so fast and [there are] so many influences coming from all directions these days," Clinton said. "I think it's important that all of us as parents draw some lines here."

For the mother of a young woman, Clinton can relate to dealing with the tough topics. She sees the Miley mess as an opportunity to teach.
"As they're teens you have to be ready to talk to them. Be ready for those teachable moments - [they] don't always come when you want them to," she said.

In related news, with the primaries just hours away, Clinton will attempt to appeal to young fans before tomorrow's big vote, via an appearance on "The Late Show with David Letterman," presenting a special top ten.
"It's about 10 things I love about about America," she said. "It's always funny. It's always a lot of fun. I really enjoy being on Dave's show."

But while Clinton appreciates the importance of pop culture in this election, she does have a confession about her recent movie-going.
"I love to go to movies with my husband," she said. "[I] did see a movie about a month, month and a half ago and I'm trying to remember what it was because I fell asleep. Isn't that terrible?"
