Hillary Clinton Talks Chelsea, Angelina Jolie & Madonna

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Elton John hosted a fundraiser in New York City last night for Hillary Clinton and Access Hollywood was there to catch a candid Hillary defending daughter Chelsea who has been bombarded by Monica Lewinsky questions.

"I think she has been very genuine and straight forward," Hillary said of the way Chelsea has handled the situation. "She says no or she says yes, whatever, she believes is right."

She may be a senator, but Hillary is a proud mom when it comes to Chelsea. Chelsea recently shot down questions about her father's infidelity by telling people it was none of their business.

"I think she has done very well," Hillary said.

Hillary, Chelsea and Bill were greeted like rock stars as they joined Elton last night at Radio City Music Hall for "Elton And Hillary: One Night Only."

Elton performed at the event, which raised over $2.5 million for her campaign.

"I am going to be singing along," Hillary said before the gig. "I am a big Elton John fan."

Turns out Hillary is also a fan of two very distant celebrity cousins. A genealogist pegged her as tenth cousins to Angelina Jolie.

"And Madonna too," Hillary smiled. "Hello, isn't this a good piece of news? I mean I am thrilled to be related to Madonna and Angelina Jolie. I have no idea whether there is any truth to it or not, but they're both strong independent women. They also have been very quick to give back to charities and humanitarian causes, so it would be an honor to be related to them."
