LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Former "Dancing With the Stars" Season 5 champ Helio Castroneves is revving up to become a father.
The Indianapolis 500 winner and his girlfriend, Adriana Henao, are expecting a daughter, IndyStar.com reported.

The baby is due in January according to the racing news Web site.
The couple will name her Mikaella.

"We thought about calling her 'Indy,' but we thought that might be a little too much," Helio said.
The champ found out the news before he won the car racing championship back in May.
And he said the baby news, which followed a big year for the star that included not only the Indy win, but acquittal in April of tax evasion charges, was thrilling.

"This year started very difficult, the middle was kind of a 'Wow!' and now this,'' he said. "This is a great ending for the book.''
