Heidi Klum is ditching the makeup and scrubbing down for a good cause!
The supermodel decided to skip the traditional makeup session and go bare faced for a new photo shoot with photographer Rankin. For the stunning black-and-white shot, the "Project Runway" star pulled back her golden locks and went with a scrubbed down makeup free face.
The photographs are in tribute of the BBC Children in Need's BearFaced campaign which is asking women to skip the makeup on November 9th to help raise money for needy children. Of her decision to participate in the campaign, Klum says, "I am a firm believer of encouraging women's empowerment. And what better way to do so than supporting such a fantastic charity."
With her decision to go bare faced, Klum joins a growing group of stars who have dared to skip the makeup recently. Here are some of the stars who have been spotted missing makeup:
Brooke Shields: Just last month the mega mom braved the New York City paparazzi to head out running errands without a stitch of makeup. The star of "Lipstick Jungle" and "Blue Lagoon" dodged out after a matinee performance in "The Exonerated" to grab a quick cup of coffee on the way. The best part was that the iconic star looked absolutely amazing without her red carpet ready "face".
Snooki: The new mom may have wanted to give birth to baby Lorenzo in high heels, but the reality star has been showing off her casual scrubbed down side on Twitter while bonding with her new baby at home. Instead of club hopping the new mom shows off her Sunday fundays with her baby, herself trying on clothes, and even watching the presidential debates all without the help of makeup.
Jessica Biel: She may have been picture perfect on her wedding day in her pretty pink princess gown, but the new Mrs. Timberlake kept it casual when she arrived in Paris last month. Rather the dolling herself up, the actress kept it makeup free for a day of shopping in the city of light just weeks before her big day.
