    Heather Locklear Secretly Entered Rehab After Jack Wagner Split

    Heather Locklear's private pain was made public when she was rushed to the Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, Calif. on January 12. (The actress' sister was reportedly scared the '90s TV star had overdosed on a combination of alcohol and prescription pills.)

    "Heather has been out of control for many years," a source tells the new issue of Us Weekly (out now). "Her drinking has caused her to fall out of many friendships."

    Locklear's problems only worsened when she and beau of four years, Jack Wagner, called off their engagement in November. "She doesn't get out of bed most days," the source explains, adding that "Jack kept her on the straight and narrow, but he couldn't keep Heather sober."

    Though Wagner, 52, "begged her to go to rehab," it wasn't until after their breakup that Locklear "entered a treatment program, which her family was able to keep quiet."

    Unfortunately, the former Melrose Place actress, 50, "didn't take it seriously" and appeared visibly drunk at an L.A. Lakers game January 10.

      No matter how much you love someone, there's a limit on how long you can watch them destroy themselves. I think Jack's a good guy and should move on to a healthier relationship.

        This is public information - I hope they publish every minuet detail of her journey down the hell hole of despair. Heck she was on all the mag covers on her way up, now we get to see the conclusion of that pathetic journey. Good riddance.

      Apparently her family wasn't able to keep it too quiet considering that we are reading all about her very private personal issues on Yahoo! I agree with Jacqui, this should be confidential information and is really none of our business. I wish Heather and her family the best.

        as i write this who really gives a #$%$ there are others without $ who need help food shelter etc the 4 she wasted on rehab etc could have helped those who really wnat to get sober not to be plastered (pun intended) all over the news papers

      Who cares about just this one person their are millions out their with drug and booze dependency who cant even afford to get help. I think its funny that actors and the rich have these dark untold secrets or #$%$ and moan about how hoorible their life is. They are handed millions of dollars and they totally #$%$ it away.
