A music video Heath Ledger directed for the group Modest Mouse before his death will be released this year, the Associated Press reports.

A band spokesperson says Ledger directed the animated clip for "King Rat" off the the group's 2007 album, We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank..

Modest Mouse lead singer Isaac Brock worked with Ledger on the video's concept, the rep says. Brock "is supporting the completion of the video in honor of Heath's last piece of work as a director," she adds.

The actor, who died last year at age 28, previously directed the music video for Ben Harper 's "Morning Yearning."
