After spending the day filming, the trio went to a private viewing of artist friend Sam Taylor Wood's new exhibition at the White Cube Gallery in London, the Daily Mail reports.
The 40-year-old director - who announced his divorce from Madonna last week - seemed to be in better spirits than a few days ago.
A source told Us he was "in pieces" after seeing a photo of his son Rocco, 8, in a T-shirt supporting Alex Rodriguez's New York Yankees baseball team.
"He's actually been crying over it," said the source of the shot, taken Monday in New York City. "He's in a terrible state but is doing his best to be on form at work."
