NEW YORK, New York -- Sorry Miss Blair - Chuck Bass is going to be locking lips with someone else on the Upper East Side this season... and, it's a guy!
Ed Westwick's legendary "Gossip Girl" ladies man character will kiss another man on an episode of the hit CW show this season, according to Entertainment Weekly.

But as usual with Chuck - there's a hidden agenda, and in this case, it's to help his college-bound girlfriend, Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester).
According to Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello, in episode 6 of the upcoming season, Blair convinces Chuck to put the moves on NYU's head of freshman affairs - played by Neal Bledsoe - in effort to help land Queen B the honor of delivering the coveted freshman speech.

Bledsoe's previous acting credits include "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "Lipstick Jungle," "CSI: New York," "Guiding Light" and an appearance alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet in "Revolutionary Road."
And while Chuck's dabbling in switching teams might shock fans of the show, it shouldn't come as a surprise to loyal readers of Cecily von Ziegesar's "Gossip Girl" books, which always had the Chuck character swinging both ways.
Throughout the books, Chuck romances a number of women and men, including a serious relationship towards the end of the series with Greg, a student who also briefly had a fling with a then-experimenting Dan Humphrey.

The new season of "Gossip Girl" premieres on September 14.
