'Gossip Girl' Mom Talks Blake & Penn Romance: 'They're So Lovely'

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- On and off screen couple Blake Lively and Penn Badgley may be doing their best to avoid talking about their romance publicly, but their "Gossip Girl" co-star Kelly Rutherford didn't mind sharing her thoughts.

Rutherford, who plays Lily van der Woosen, mom to Lively's Serena, told People the two twenty-somethings are fabulous.

"I think they're so lovely," she said.

Rutherford said one of the pluses of the couple dating is being able to go through the "Gossip Girl" fame journey, together.

"To be able to go through this ride and success and to have somebody to do that with and share that experience, I think they're both very fortunate," she said.

The actress also said, no one is worrying about on-set tension should the beautiful couple split up.

"They've known each other for a long time," she said. "They're both so together and whatever happens is their business, and I think they're both darling and very together as people."

I think they look soooo good together. But recently on the show they split up. I was so mad. i was hoping they stayed together forever!
