I was very young when All in the Family and Maude aired, and have watched them both in reruns on TVLand, and watched The Golden Girls from day 1, and continue to watch the reruns. Thank you Estelle and Bea for your humor, your talent, your "you". You are both missed and my prayers are with your families! I didn't know you personally, but can say that I love you both!

Bea Arthur was very funny without doing a lot of slap-stick comedy. Whenever she opened her mouth something funny always came out. I still watch her everyday on the Golden Girls.

Seems like some of the current sitcom ideas came from the Golden Girls, such as Girlfriends and Sex and the City. These all can look back and see the magic. R.I.P. girls!
