Although "Glee's" Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) and Cassandra July (Kate Hudson) are mortal enemies on TV, Lea is setting the record straight--she and Kate are not feuding.
As Lea told Marie Claire, Kate had called her after hearing about the feud rumors and said, "I just heard about that, and it f-ing sucks. I want you to know I think you're amazing."
After that phone call, Kate went "straight to the top of my list because it was so classy of her to take a minute to [address the rumor], even though we both knew it was the biggest piece of crap in the whole world. I told her, 'I love you, and I adore you. Thank you so much for creating a human moment with me.'"
This is not the first time that Lea has had to address these types of rumors. Here's a look at a few of her past rumored feuds.
Lea Michele Vs. Charice
There were conflicting reports about whether or not Lea was responsible for getting Filipino singing sensation, Charice kicked off the show.
According to one insider, "Charice...had a big debut, but things changed and they didn't put her back in. The word is, Lea is the big star, and producers want to keep her happy,"
However, another "Glee" spokesman denied the rumors. "Lea is a consummate pro who couldn't be more welcoming of other powerhouse singers on the show, from Kristin Chenoweth to Idina Menzel."
While Rachel did send Sunshine to a crack house, there's no evidence that Lea and Charice were feuding in real life.
Lea Michele Vs. Sarah Hyland
Rumors of a feud between Lea and the "Modern Family" star surfaced after Sarah playfully mocked Lea's red carpet posing style on E!'s "Fashion Police."
Hyland later explained that her comments were not intended to be malicious. "I did not intend for my comments to be taken in a malicious way. But I did hate [her] dress. Called her ass great. Did you all hear that one?"
Lea was "a little hurt" by the comments, but decided not to hold a grudge. She commented, "I send her love. I think she's a great person."
Lea Michele Vs. Hailee Steinfeld
Lea and the "True Grit" star got off on the wrong foot when Hailee asked for an autograph but was shooed away.
The "Glee" star later issued an apology, explaining that it was all a misunderstanding and that her production assistant had pulled her away too soon before she could respond.
Lea and Hailee later made nice at January 2011's SAG Awards where they let bygones be bygones.
