Glam Slam: Makeup Mondays - Michelle's Makeup

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- It's predicted that as many as 100 million people will watch tomorrow's Inauguration. So you can only imagine what's gone in to making sure the entire Obama family looks impeccable. Knowing how much emphasis is typically put on the First Lady's fashion, I'm sure the always stylish Michelle will look fabulous and flawless right down to her makeup.

Supermodel and makeup maven Iman , who certainly knows a thing or two about looking good, has some suggestions for how Michelle can take her look from the daytime swearing-in ceremony to the nighttime balls.

DAYTIME CHIC
"There's nothing like the classic smoky eye," Iman says. "It's a great look that can be worn day and night." Iman suggests applying a rich jewel tone directly to the lid. "A perfect color for her is the IMAN Luxury Eyeshadow in African Violet. Even a dark emerald green or dark cobalt blue will have the same affect without being too deep for day." Apply a lighter shade in the middle, such as Nutmeg from Iman 's line. "Apply right to the hollow of the eye, just under the brow tone, to add shape and dimension. Complete the eye with a lighter shade moving away from the lash line. Integrate all three of these colors by blending very well, and voil!"

"For those great cheek bones of hers, she can use a deeper tone for a primary blush, and a lighter shade to highlight the top of her cheek bone. Arc the blusher for a more curved look rather than straight stripes, because we want it to contour to the curvature of her actual cheekbones," Iman says. "A lighter shade (IMAN Luxury Blushing Powder in Allure), lightly applied just on top of cheek bone finishes the look. For lips, use a light-to-medium brown liner, like IMAN Perfect Lip Pencil in Cocoa, followed by IMAN Luxury Moisturizing Lipstick in Sheer Gold, which is soft and very sheer. A little Iman trick is to apply lip-gloss to the bottom lip only then press you lips together and transfer color from bottom lip to the top. EVENING GLAMOUR
