LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Who better to give us expert makeup secrets than the ageless Iman, who as a model, learned every insider trick in the book and even created her own cosmetics line.

IN YOUR 20s
"Forget about less is more. You can really go for it," says Iman about makeup for women in their twenties.

Go for a bright lip as America Ferrera does, or experiment with a bold eye like Beyonce.

"She's always changing with makeup. She plays with colors. She's in her twenties, she can get away with it."

IN YOUR 30s
"The idea in your thirties is to be powerful. Find you own style and pump it up."
Iman says your thirties are about creating a signature look, like stars Eva Longoria Parker and Gabrielle Union.

"Whatever your strong feature is, play with that. The rule of thumb is to choose one. If you have a strong eye, have a softer lip and vice versa."

IN YOUR 40s
"It's all about being classic. You have to think of it as a black cashmere turtleneck - it never goes out of style," says Iman about makeup in your 40's.

She suggests avoiding anything too trendy. Skip foundation because it settles on wrinkles. Go for the tried and true...use lipstick, which never goes out of style, instead of lip gloss.

"Think of Halle Berry, think of Vanessa Williams, think of Salma Hayek - these are girls who know what looks good on them."
