Happy Third Day of spring! It's official and I'm so glad we can enjoy and look forward to months of beautiful, warm sunny days. Here are a few of my fashion faves for the season.
SANDALS: Awwwwwww! That's how I feel whenever I get to ditch stuffy closed toe shoes and break out the sandals. I truly have a sandal obsession and it's the one type of shoe I buy more than any other. Just make sure you get a great pedicure. No matter what time of year, I always love a dark color like "Chanel Vamp," but it's also fun to switch things up and go with bold brights.
COLOR: Black, grey, oxblood and brown get replaced by happy saturated hues. Pastels are always big for spring; but this year, we also see an abundance of orange, "Kelly green", fuchsia and yellow, as well as the continued popularity of neons.
WHITE JEANS: Yeah, I know, there's that old rule that you shouldn't wear them before Memorial Day(which technically IS in Spring); but here in California where it's warm and sunny long before that, that rule goes out the window. I'm ready to wear them now.
FLORALS: The happy print is synonymous with spring and this year there are so many choices. Print pants and jeans are big for spring; but if that's too much for you, go for an accent piece like a clutch bag or scarf.
SKIN: After months of being covered up in layers, we finally get to break out some cute tees, tanks and dresses. If you don't want to look pasty, go for a safe tan and do the sunless 'faux' glow.
