LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- "As I go around the world meeting unbelievably brave women, fighters, people who've overcome this disease, it makes me more and more determined to raise as much money as I can, raise awareness as much as I can so that nobody else will ever die of breast cancer ever again." - Elizabeth Hurley
And Elizabeth is doing both -- using her star power to bring attention AND help raise funds to fight against breast cancer.

In 1994 Elizabeth joined Evelyn Lauder, founder of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), in her campaign against the disease.
"It's an amazing cause...it has raised 220 million dollars for breast cancer research," Elizabeth says proudly.

Elizabeth, who lost her grandmother to the disease, is very hands on. She created the Elizabeth Hurley High Color Lip Gloss Collection for Estee Lauder to raise money. The set of gloss features three pinks, of course!
And for more feel good fashion finds... head to Bloomingdale's. For the past four years, the famed department store has teamed up with BCRF to sell merchandise that will generate a donation.
This year, there are 44 beauty and fashion items...everything from Estee Lauder cosmetics to fragrances like Donna Karen Cashmere Mist and Jo Malone Red Roses... to pink Splendid Tanks and Tory Burch boots.

So far, Bloomingdales has contributed $500,000 specifically toward research to prevent cancer.
"We want women to know that if a breast cancer is diagnosed early, there's a 98% chance of a full survival. And that's what we tell women...it's very important," says Elizabeth.
