LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Heidi Klum and I actually have something in common. We both like chocolate. Actually, I LOVE chocolate. Dark chocolate. Chocolate with almonds. Chocolate with peanuts. Pretty much any chocolate will do. Halloween is a real temptation with loads of candy just about everywhere you look. So what are some TRICKS for keeping off the TREATS?
Hot Trainer Jessie Pavelka from Lifetime's weight loss show 'DietTribe' shares his tips on how to avoid scary weight gain!

1. At Halloween parties, enjoy the festivities and costumes, and enjoy the food and drink - but in moderation. Eat something healthy before you go to the party, so that you eat and drink small amounts when you're there.
2. Take your kids for a brisk walk around the neighborhood in the day to look at decorated houses - they'll enjoy it and you'll get some extra cardio.

3. When handing out treats, set yourself a limit so that you don't eat them mindlessly. For example, agree to eat 4 of your favorite small candies.
4. Get a workout in the next day and you won't feel badly about splurging the night before.
5. Enjoy yourself, holidays are a time to take a break from your routine - within healthy limits - and you'll feel even better about getting back on track the next day.
