George Clooney Finds Gay Rumors 'Funny'

George Clooney's commitment to bachelorhood has long fueled rumors that he might be gay. In an interview with The Advocate, George confronts the gossip with a sharp sense of humor that has become his trademark.

"I think it's funny," said George. "But the last thing you'll ever see me do is jump up and down, saying, 'These are lies!' ... I'm not going to let anyone make it seem like being gay is a bad thing."

For one night only George Clooney, Martin Sheen, Jamie Lee Curtis and George Takei will perform in Dustin Lance Black's stage play called 8. Black, who won an Academy Award for the Milk screenplay, centered his new play around Proposition 8 of 2010. The one-night run will take place March 3 at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles.
