Former "90210" star Gabrielle Carteris is suing the makers of her 2006 film, "Past Tense," claiming she was injured on set.

Carteris, in her December 11, 2007 filed lawsuit, obtained by Access Hollywood, claims she was filming the movie in Vancouver, Canada on February 6, 2006. There she was "injured and hurt in her strength and activity, sustaining injury to her body, nervous system and person," the lawsuit reads.

Carteris claims that as a result of the incident, she "has suffered a loss of the ability to work," among other complaints.

She places blame on the defendants, suggesting in her suit that they failed to provide proper supervision of those on the shoot, didn't "properly rehearse the activities" she was involved in, failed "to have appropriately trained medical personnel at the location" or a "properly trained stunt coordinator," and didn't have safety meetings, in her list of complaints.

"Defendants promised, among other things, to abide by certain industry wide safety guidelines and rules for the production of the Picture. On information and belief, at the time Defendants made such a promise they had no intent of honoring it," her suit reads.

Carteris is suing for medical expenses, loss of earnings and various damages.

Some of you people are idiots. She has a very lucrative career doing voice overs. So to all of you that think she is doing it for the money are wrong. If you read the People Mag. article and saw the pictures of her paralysis, it was not pretty and very scary. I am all for movies being realistic but actually CHOKING someone to the point that you cause paralysis is neglegent and I hope she WINS
