LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Hundreds of mourners, including Whoopi Goldberg, paid tribute to the late Patrick Swayze at a private memorial on Sunday, People reported.
Family and friends of the star, who died last month of pancreatic cancer at the age of 57, Patrick's life at the service, held Sunday on the Los Angeles Sony Studios lot.

One of Patrick's beloved white horses was saddled up and had the actor's boots placed in its stirrups backward, to honor the star.
"It's an old horseman tradition," a source told the mag.

Planned by his wife, Lisa Niemi, in addition to the white horse, which carried Patrick's boots, attendees of the ceremony witnessed many personal photos of the star and a video tribute.
Additionally, professional dancers put on a performance to honor Patrick.
"A whole dance floor was built," another source told the mag. "The dancers did these amazing numbers."
