NEW YORK, N.Y. (November 27, 2007) - Foxy Brown is one step closer to freedom.
The rap star, who is in prison forone year due to probation violations, has been removed from a segregated cell at Rikers Island, according to a report in the New York Post.

Foxy received 76 days in solitary confinement on Oct, 16 for alleged involvement in a bloody shoving match with another inmate, being verbally abusive to guards and refusing to take a drug test.
It appears the time alone has been a positive experience for the rapper. She was let out of solitary after only serving 40 days for good behavior, according to the New York Post.
Foxy is now a member of the general prison population, but kept under protective custody due to her high profile.
