LONDON, England -- Former teen idol David Cassidy, from the 70's hit show "The Partridge Family," has some words of wisdom for one of today's hottest teen stars, Zac Efron.
"All I can say to Zac is that as long as he does good work, doesn't lose his mind and stays grounded as a human being, he'll be fine," Cassidy told Britain's Daily Mail as he was prepping for his U.K. concert tour last week.
"Because it's only about the talent and never about how many fans or photographers you've got outside your home," he continued.
Cassidy cautioned Zac that regardless of the career choices he makes, sometimes there's no controlling fame and that the "High School Musical" star better prepare himself.

"But he'd better fasten his seatbelt," Cassidy added, "Because it's going to be a very bumpy ride."

notuWan't Cassidy an actual kid when he did Partridge Family? I mean Effron started getting fame as an adult. I can imagine the fame is hard to deal with. I would think that at 21, Effron can handle things more maturely then a school aged kid would. Anyway, Effron seems to handle fame in a low key way.
