  If Nirvarna were never formed Dave Grohl will still be famous it would take a little longer for some record bigwig to find him. He has the same tastes in music as Kurt i.e Melvins Mudhoney. Grunge isnt dead its just dormant and until a decent band wakes it from its slumber and because of Grohl he is still one of the living legends of grunge. He may took a backstep Dave is grunge period.
