This weekend at the iHeart Radio Music Festival, Miley Cyrus had a chance encounter with rapper Flavor Flav. But with her new short platinum blonde hairdo, he mistook her for Gwen Stefani. Even after sharing a chat, a photo, and a hug, Miley didn't bother to correct him.
Later when he realized his mistake, he gave her some Twitter love by posting pics of the two of them together.
Miley is not the only one dealing with look-alike drama. Who else has had a doppelganger lately?
Waitress Heidi Agan is turning heads because of her resemblance to the Duchess of Cambridge. Heidi decided to quit her job as a waitress and work full-time as a Kate Middleton impersonator. These days she's earning more than $1000 per appearance. Now if only Prince Harry could blame his Vegas weekend on a doppelganger.
Kanye is not happy about that fact that there is a sex tape floating around featuring him and a Kim Kardashian look-alike. According to an insider, "Kanye is freaking out. He doesn't want this tape out and will do anything to make sure it stays private. If this were to hit the market it would be worth a fortune - there would definitely be a lot of people wanting to see this! … Kanye was practically in tears when he heard the tape was being shopped."
One would think that Kanye would know better--he was the one who shot the tape in the first place. If you don't want people checking out your private moments, don't leave a video trail.
Back when Katy was still married to Russell, DJ Scott Mills pulled a prank by surprising her with a Russell Brand look-alike. Katy's reaction was not pretty.
As Mills explained, "Well, she ran out of the room screaming. My producer told me she was in tears in the next room, while I tried to smooth it over with viewers. I have no idea why it freaked her. For all I know they were having marriage problems. But she eventually did come back on screen. When there was a break she whispered in my ear, 'You better play my songs forever!'"
