Nicole Polizzi, also known as Snooki, gave birth on August 26, 2012, to a 6-pound-5-ounce baby boy with a full head of hair. Motherhood tweets
It seems as if the 24-year-old has really taken to being a new mom. Since leaving Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey, on August 28, she's been tweeting numerous comments about what her new life has been like. Where fist-pumping was once the highlight of her day, using a breast pump has taken over as evidenced by her August 29 tweet that said, "Cant wait to pump!!! The highlight of my life." As to be expected, she's not getting much sleep. In the early morning hours of August 29, she tweeted, "We don't sleep anymore. We just take lots of naps. Idc, as long as I'm staring at my handsome son."It seems as if the engaged couple is doing a great job at helping each other out. She recently tweeted "Jionni and I are the dream team at changing diapers! TEAMWORK BABE ❤@JlaValle."
Anderson Cooper's gift
In an unlikely pairing, Nicole and Anderson have clearly bonded after their spray-tan date back in September 2011 when the two hung out together for his show "Anderson." Shortly after she gave birth, he sent her two-dozen cannolis from Carlo's Bakery in Hoboken, New Jersey. The shop is featured on the show, "Cake Boss." Considering how delicious the cannolis are, we have no doubt she loved them. With appreciation, she tweeted "Thank u so much. Just got ur gift! We love you, Mr.Anderstand!"
Post-pregnancy present
The pint-sized reality star recently tweeted "From my sweetie @jlavalle," along with a photo of a silver Pandora charm bracelet, but took the photo down not long after posting it. However, in the age of technology, the image was captured before she deleted it. It appears as if the new treasure was a post-pregnancy gift from her hunny and from the looks of it, he did a great job at picking it out. The bracelet features six small charms with a dangling charm in the center.
"Jersey Shore" cancellation
We don't remember the last time we heard a cheer this loud over the cancellation of a show. Sadly for "Jersey Shore" fans, the sixth season is going to be the last for the wild partying gang of self-proclaimed guidos and guidettes. On August 30, Polizzi tweeted " Yes, sadly it's true. This upcoming season of Jersey Shore will be our last. But it was fricken INSANE. I will always love my roomies!" The cast has raked in quite a bit of cash thanks to their unexpected success. The three most prominent members - Snooks, The Situation and DJ Pauly D - are all pulling in an mind-boggling $150,000 an episode and that doesn't even include the $400,000 signing bonus, the $200,000 bonus at the end of the season and $150,000 for a reunion episode. According to MTV, there are currently no plans to bring back "Jersey Shore" with a new cast.
