why anyone would want to post this kind of picture is beyond me. Show some respect for the deceased and give the family some privacy. Is that too much?

If all are disgusting, are any? It is natural to want to view the corpse. Google open casket. We will see it all in the National Enquirer next week anyway.

I am agreeing with the folk who said you guys are hypocrites. you come here to see and now you're mad because they show it?? If it's tacky, and bad taste, and disrespectful, why did you come look? She was a great singer and a beautiful lady and this doesn't change any of that. You guys need to check the glass that shows reflections. Not Yahoo or ET's fault YOU clicked the link!!!

I wonder to what extent her service will be compared to MJ. Public or private, viewing or non viewing. We didn't have a viewing with MJ. I don't expect it to be different, especially with her daughter this way.

What a bunch of self-righteous hypocrites...if you really felt this was so shameful, why did you click on it? MK nailed it in her comment but did that make you take a look in the mirror? Face it, human beings are attracted to what is shocking. It is what it is...and neither right or wrong. The fake "moral outrage" is what is ugly...not our natural curiosity about death.

It's a freaking body bag .. not like you can see WH's body. Furthermore, we have no idea if WH is actually inside. And I'll bet most of you were #$%$ that you didn't get to see Osama Bin Laden's body just to judge for yourself if he was dead or not.
    • mandy  •  Milwaukee, Wisconsin  •  3 months ago
Seriously? You had to show a picture of the body? Shame on you. There are people out there such as her loved ones mourning for her. Your disgusting.

This photo is unnecessary. Please respect the last dignity she has. She's dead why must the media exploit every facet of her death.
    • Steve and Sherry  •  Dayton, Ohio  •  3 months ago
Oh please...everyone one of us wanted to see something. Those saying it is "tasteless" or "disgusting" are frickin hypocrites. You obviously clicked on this link where the photo is posted. Why....if you really cared about the issue of privacy or decency you would not have pointed your browser in this direction.

So much for ethics and respect for the dead. Anything for a sensational story and an extra hundred bucks from the tabloid boss.

This is REAL stupid. If it is her body bag, it's useless and both ET and Yahoo should be ashamed. You call this "journalism"?
This is the sad side of our First Amendment. It needs to be RE-amended.

ET, you've stooped to a new low. We really didn't need to see the body bag. What difference does it make? It doesn't help us understand what happened to one of the world's great voices -- a great voice that has been silenced way too early.
