Evan Rachel Wood Denies Dating Mickey Rourke

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Despite online reports of a budding romance between "Wrestler" co-stars Evan Rachel Wood and Mickey Rourke, the actress squashes any notion that she's dating the 56-year-old actor.

"Spread the word - I'm not dating Mickey Rourke," Evan Rachel told People at Sunday's Hollywood Life 3rd annual Behind the Camera Awards in Hollywood. "Everybody thinks we're dating and we're not."

The actress had previously denied a relationship with Mickey following her break up with shock rocker Marilyn Manson in a statement released to the mag.

"Mickey and I bonded while shooting 'The Wrestler' and we became friends, but nothing more. I guess, because of my recent break up, I will be linked to many people, but I am not interested in pursuing a relationship at this point in my life. Any such rumor should not be taken seriously," she said in the statement.

Mickey also denied reports of a romance with the young actress. When asked by the mag if they had a relationship, he replied, "No, no. I'm a big fan of hers and she's a big fan of mine."

Evan Rachel also wants fans to know her split from Marilyn has not been as traumatic as its been made out to be.

"It's not the nasty thing everybody thinks it is. I'm doing fine, as best as can be expected," she said. "Right now, I'm just enjoying being on my own."
